The severe slowdown in production across the industry over the past couple of years has impacted us all. Fortunately I've still been able to maintain a semi-normal flow of work with my last project being the second season of Daredevil: Born Again for which I worked on about half the season. In addition I was able to design some fun signs, props, and presentation pieces for Spider-Noir, a very different Spiderman series set in the 1930's starring Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris and Brenden Gleeson.
LEAR REX
In July 2024 I wrapped up work designing the royal heraldry for a new film adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear called LEAR REX written and directed by Bernard Rose (Immortal Beloved, Candyman). The film stars Al Pacino as Lear, Jessica Chastain as Goneril, Rachel Brosnahan as Regan, Ariana DeBose as Cordelia, Peter Dinklage as the Fool, Danny Huston as Albany and Chris Messina as Cornwall.
